E-collar training

Well what can I say apart from what a fantastic 5 days of E collar training with Andi .
I Booked Charlie a 5 year old Labrador in with Andi as he was reactive to some dogs and had never been off lead for around 4 years.
Andi got to work with him on a longline and on day 3 he was on a dropped line and on day 4 he was completely off lead totally and living his best life doing what dogs do best running around and sniffing
I would have no hesitation in recommending Andi 100%

Highly Recommended Dog Trainer

I got in touch with Andi at K9 Bootcamp after receiving multiple recommendations from people whilst out walking my dog Milly, Hungarian Viszlar.

I was desperate to find a solution as to why Milly seemed to have suddenly turned very anxious and reactive to other dogs, often leaving me in tears and apologising to other dog owners for her seemingly ‘bullying behaviour’.

Andi told me that it was common for dogs ‘getting in her face/space’ effectively to behave in such a manner, they just dont like it she told me. Between us we established that Milly’s recall had to be worked upon in order for me to be able to take her out of confrontational circumstances with other dogs and also to stop any ‘prey drives/chases’ and the possibility of her running off and me losing her. I live more or less on the moors and wanted Milly to run freely but at the same time be able to get her to come back to me when called. I wrongly thought that I had established good recall with Milly (prior to meeting Andi) and that I could do this but that wasn’t the case. That can only be truly tested if Milly will come back to me in situations as described above when on the ‘chase’ or confrontation with other animals. Something I didn’t have. Andi recommended her 5 day e-collar Bootcamp. The Bootcamp has now equipped me with the knwledge of how to get my dog back.

Throughout the training Andi shown great patience with both myself and the dog. Andi exhibited a professional, knowledgeable and passionate understanding of what makes a ‘dog tick’ and how to establish control of your dog in any situation. She explained the fundamentals of how the e-collar worked and the circumstances in which it should be used. She convinced me that the e-collar is NOT a harmful way of training by way of letting me experience the feeling of being ‘stimmed’ – in other words to feel the stimulation and it made me realise that its just an impulse signal that the dog will get.

Andi is a hardworking passionate individual who wants the best for you and your ‘best friend’. Her communication was always timely no matter how many times I contacted her, she was always there for me. The training videos sent after every training session served as a great reminder of what to do and how to deal with situations, an excellent idea.

E-collar training

E-collar training probably saved our dog !
Just back off 2nd walk alone with Enzo (GIANT Schnauzer)after a 5 day e-collar course with Andi. OMG I can not believe the difference! Enzo had decided dogs, deers, people and anything that moved were more important than us,and refused to come back to us. Andi suggested e-collar training which is not a shock collar. Andi tried out the collar on me to explain how it works then set about training Enzo what the collar means to him! Trained me how to work with Enzo to get the desired results to come back to me always without hesitation. 2 days after finishing the training I have no need to press the collar( although I still put it on him) because he completely understands what is required of him. I am actually amazed at the results!! Andi is prompt, professional,excellent at reading the dog, I would absolutely 100% recommend her for any kind of dog training at all. Enzo a 50 kg dog was an accident waiting to happen,not now we have full control and he still has the freedom to be off lead Thank you!!

Gary the gremlin

I contacted andi regarding my frenchie who has psychotic tendencies, ( to put it nicely)
I’ve had control over Gary, but he has random bouts of aggression and it was starting to get too much for the family, and I at times was losing control of him , he has hurt three people badly the vets are scared of him , and enough was enough it just couldn’t go on . I had put things in place and I started to see a slight improvement in other areas but we needed some serious help with the aggression . Andi turned up didn’t sugarcoat it

We booked a crash course of a five day Boot Camp

Within that five day Boot Camp, I learnt that setting more firm boundaries , one word commands , lead control, with consistency Brings back the power,
A dog needs to be a dog, they are not ( even though we think) our babies, and we as responsible dog runners need to hear that ,
As much as we love them, we are the problem in most cases, we change our behaviour. The dog will follow suit.

Fabulous Trainer

Completed the 5 day handler course for my 3 yr old rescue who is reactive. Before the training he would bark manically at all dogs a good distance away and be lunging in his lead , up on his back legs. Doing the handler training gave me the opportunity to learn how to control this behaviour with techniques, recognising his body language as well as adjusting my own behaviours – I was quite anxious and stressed as had a previous reactive dog and didn’t want to pass my feelings on to this dog . Andi put us in different situations to show us how to deal with it lots of tips , advice , information . Although we are still work in process we are able to visit parks and be around other dogs with a lot less reactions from Rupert and able to make our walks more enjoyable for all by introducing scent games to keep him focused . Lead walking struggles and reactivity

My 14 month old cocker spaniel (Beau) was awful at walking on the lead without pulling my arm off and he was very reactive near other dogs. I booked the handler bootcamp which was a 5 day intensive course. Andi was very helpful with helping me to pick the right course for me and Beau. Andi started working with Beau by changing his collar to a slip collar which worked very quickly. We worked on methods to stop him from pulling and to focus on me. He has picked these up quite quickly and is working. Our walks are so much more enjoyable. Beau is now more comfortable being around other dogs with minimal barking thanks to Andi allowing us to join a group walk. I am still working with Beau at home and everything is still working and he is getting much better. Thank you so much Andi.

Reactive Keano

Excellent, down to earth, challenging and enjoyable training carried out in real life situations rather than a classroom which makes a massive difference. I got Keano in 2020 during covid lockdown so found it difficult to socialise him with other dogs and he has been reactive ever since, which undermined my own confidence. We undertook the ecollar training and there has been an immediate improvement for both me and Keano so much so that I have confidence in him and me for him to be off lead.

Training for becoming a pet therapy dog

I booked 4 one to one sessions with my English Bulldog Pip. Andi was fantastic, she talked me through every step of the way and gave me the skills to teach my dog.
I have every intention of joining one of her groups maybe even agility classes. I have also signed on to her YouTube channel which is full of practical exercises and ideas.

Bacon’s first steps to confidence

From the start Andi was professional and easy to reach. She responded in a timely manner. Bacon took to Andi and the advice and guidance was immediately evident in his behaviour.

She exposed him to real world scenarios and started him on his journey to join me on runs. The advice on when to be on lead and off lead is invaluable, working on his recall and response to me as his owner.

She taught me simple activities to stimulate Bacon’s mind, introducing rock climbing as a problem solving activity. Andi also gave us guidance on what socialising actually means.

Although Bacon has a long way to work on his reactivity to people and dogs, we have the tools to ensure that his focus stays on me.

E Collar Training

I adopted Molly from my now 3 year old GSD from a couple who had her from a puppy, and regretfully at the age on 1 year old could no longer cope with her behaviour. Yes another dog let down by their owners. Her first year of her life she spent in the garden and was not introduced to anything or taught anything. Her bad behaviour was rewarded with custard cream biscuits and human peanut butter.

I adopted her from them, and as I had experience with three other GSD and so I knew the breed pretty well. I thought that Molly just required boundaries, routine, and structure in her young life. I didn’t think it would be easy but I also didn’t realise how bad she was. She was also an adolescent y by now and testing her boundaries even more so. Introducing her to the outside world was heart breaking for me. She had so many problems car phobia, biting, growling, frightened, prey drive, lunging barking etc. “you know how it goes” not good..

I spent the next 2 years working through everything with her and it was not easy. At times I felt like giving up, but I also knew that was not an option. People would give me the looks and tut, but this made me more determined than ever to help Molly. I knew that there was a good dog in there and I would do my best for her.

Things came to ahead when Molly escape the garden, and ended up on a busy road I ran into the middle of the road to stop the traffic its a wonder we both didn’t get killed. I spent what felt like hours recalling her but nothing worked. I was near to tears, anyway a chap walked passed with his dog and fortunately Molly went over to the dog and the chap caught her.

From then on it was secure field for exercise and recall training. We practise but any distractions would always win..

Having met Andi at K9 Bootcamp for training with her car phobia, which was successful. We discussed the issue with recall. Andi suggested e collar training would help resolve the recall and distraction issues. We went ahead and booked 5 day course, Andi got to work with Molly straight away worked through the different levels pretty low considering her prey drive and Molly in a short time began to respond to the corrections, (on a long line at this point) she actually was enjoying the coming back and being given the freedom of not having to be 6ft lead away from me at any one time. Then came the big test came on day 3 and the longline removed I was a nervous wreck but I trusted Andi judgement when she said Molly was ready for total off lead. Molly excelled in her recall it was wonderful I will never forget the joy in Mollys face bouncing about doing her own thing I could not believe it… The important thing was that Andi did not only train Mollys 100% recall, but she also trained her handler who was nervous and lacked leadership and confidence because deep down I had been traumatised by the fact that Molly could have been injured or even killed in the past..

We are going from strength to strength. The outcome as changed our lives in a way we couldn’t have imagined. Our bond as become so much stronger and I have a happy dog who enjoys her freedom to run free in open fields, and me the handler has the reassurance that the e collar will give me 100% piece of mind that should Molly ever become distracted. I have the backup with the e collar, and most importantly I am keeping her and others safe.

4 year old reactive, resource guarding dachshund.

I contacted Andi after finding her online, we have a almost 4 yr old male dachshund, although lovely 75% of the time the other 25% he was reactive to certain people (mainly our 14 yr old daughter) and resource guarded people, “high value” treats, other people’s treats, food ect. He certainly kept our 14 yr old on her toes. Along with this he can be quite an anxious dog. We booked in a 6hour block, this was done over 2 consecutive weekends 1.5hrs per day. Andi was super easy to contact and responded very quickly to emails, stayed in contact throughout the process and even messaged to let us know when she was on her way. Although our Dach was super anxious at first, diving straight off our sofa towards her on her first visit, with constant barking, by the 2nd day he’d calmed down enough to be around Andi without his usual over barking self. We worked though his behaviour issues, came up with some very straight to the point and easy ways to help our family, I found the process easy, very informative and Andi has helped us to put in boundaries that our dog definitely needed, and helped us work on building the relationship between our daughter and dog. Andi was super punctual, friendly and very knowledgeable. By the end of our last session we as a family had seen some very noticeable differences with our dog. Andi also informed us that if we needed any more help to not hesitate to contact her at any point. This is something that will remain a priority if we need further help.

Thanks Andi for helping me realise I needed the training! I can walk my 5 month old Irish terrier without him pulling…. He is still ‘cocky’ but the recall skills are beginning to work well! I contacted Andy on k9 boot camp for my Yorkshire Terrier buddy with very bad house aggressive and they were amazing with me and my dog was brilliant.

Reggie Cockapoo E-collar training

Reggie was reactive to dogs and used to pull on the lead like a train. He had pretty much no recall and was likely to chase any livestock he could see (horses, cows, sheep, ducks).
Andi recommended giving E-collar training a go, which I was a bit worried about, but with guidance on what collar to buy and how to use it as tool to help Reg and correct his unwanted behaviour and not to punish, Reg went from disappearing in to the distance to staying within a decent range and coming back first time when called.
After a few corrections Reg happily walked past other dogs without and silly sounds or reaction and I no longer have to use it for when he sees dogs.
We continued with his training and his happy, springy character never changed! And he’s always happy to have his collar put on, never shys away.
Because we are now able to let Reg off and NEVER doubt his recall with his E-collar, which he has on for every walk but we barely have to use now he is a happy, more relaxed dog that tends to ignore any distraction that he used to react to and knows the difference to walking nicely next to me on lead and when he can have full freedom and sniff/run to his hearts desire!
What a difference Andi and the E-collar training has made, just goes to show how humane it actually is and when used properly it can open up a whole new world for your dog. It’s totally improved Reggies quality of life.

Nell

After a month research I booked 4 sessions for Nell and myself .
We are both glad we did!
The end of 2024 Nell had an ear infection which I’d not noticed and had two bad contacts with two different dogs over a weekend. She was in no mood for the dogs being in her face
She was then reactive on walks leaving us both feeling stressed!
I read up on what to do and tried my best but she was still reactive.
Initially the lessons were booked for February/March but family things meant I had to cancel, which Andi was so understanding of. On re booking we have done the 4 hour sessions over two weeks.
On my first session Andi pointed out something so simple! I slowed down when I spotted another dog! Alerting Nell who started to bark.
Something so simple means Nell now just trots by with hardly a glance!
Doing focus work with treats and her ball now keeps Nell focused on me rather than on other dogs
What Andi taught us has got us back on track enjoying our walks together and is easy to put into action and continue with.
Well worth the money!

Highly recommend K9 Bootcamp!

I had been to other trainers previously and all of them were pretty useless (and expensive). Andi was the first to truly understand Duke and get straight to it. Her no-nonsense approach was so refreshing, as well as her training of me as much as Duke. The mix of approaches and training styles was fantastic and Duke massively improved over the course of the 5-day BootCamp. We now have some long-term tools and techniques to continue the great work and we’re now benefiting from the group classes as well.

If you’re at the end of your tether, fear not, Andi will help!

Bullseye

Andi really helped us make some amazing progress with Bullseye really quickly from Day 1. She taught us simple and easy to follow techniques that worked, and recommended products that when used correctly, made all the difference. Bootcamp was great for Bullseye, but also for us, giving us confidence in what we were doing after seeing the results first hand. Would absolutely recommend Andi for anyone looking for no nonsense, straight to the point dog training that’s just as helpful for you as it is for your dog.

Roxy

Roxy is a rescue from RRAR, past history unknown. When we got her she was quiet, never barked and was reasonably well behaved on the lead. As she grew in confidence, and she did!, she became more assertive and cheeky but the most difficult thing was that she became very reactive to other dogs when out walking. I contacted Andi and we agreed on 4 sessions. She trained both Roxy and myself, she told me how to manage Roxy when passing other dogs, it did take some time as Roxy did not listen to the instructions as diligently as I did but with the help of a different lead and collar and constant reinforcement of the instructions we are now able to go for a stress free walk and Roxy’s improved behaviour has been commented on by other dog walkers. I would strongly recommend Andi as a dog trainer, she is positive, encouraging and knows what she is doing and sends videos of each training session to consult if necessary. When I am finally satisfied that Roxy can behave when out walking without constant attention I may consider a few sessions on recall and off lead walking.

Fletcher our rescue Tibetan Terrier

Fletcher came to us with a bite history and an attitude. He had absolutely no idea how to behave around people or dogs without causing a scene. His default if told ‘no’ was to lash out. 99% of the time he’s such a good boy, but when that switch flicks it’s scary. We had 4 sessions with Andi and she saw his switch flick on session one for no other reason than she told him ‘no’ to inappropriate behaviour.
Andi’s no nonsense approach was refreshing. We’d tried softly softly and the issues still existed.
I’ve learned to manage his space, go new places, avoid his triggers where possible.
I would definitely recommend Andi

Extreme Car Phobia

I adopted Molly at the age of 1 she is now 3 years old German Shepherd. I had been working on building her confidence to even go near the car for nearly 2 years. Forcing her in the car was not an option because of her size and the fact that it could backfire and we would end up stranded. We spent our walks within a walking radius around my area, I walked her to the vets etc., this was a great concern for me in case I had to get her to the vet in an emergency. My life was on hold because I longed for the day that she would travel in the car and come with me to visit my family in Wales and walk and play along the beaches and explore adventures.. I felt it would never happen.
I hired a dog walker to see if he could work his magic but to no avail. However, he recommended me to Andi at K9 Bootcamp.
Andi and I spoke at great lengths over the telephone about my concerns, Andi was reassuring, understanding and put me at ease and I put my trust in her to help us.
I booked 4 hour course , Andi came to the house and was introduced to Molly and within minutes we got to work straight away. Of course Molly did her usual backing away and refusing to do, but not for long. By the end of the 90 minutes Molly was in the car she was clearly anxious but with clear commands began to relax a little. Andi broke everything down into smaller pieces making it easier for Molly to handle and timing it just right. The next day we were starting the car and doing a small journey near home and learning to play and relax around the car. On our last day we actually drove to meet Andi at Lobden where we did some lead and recall training along with other obedience bits. We even went and met the other dogs when she was taking a group session so that Molly who had never experienced so many people and dogs could do some socialising. It was brilliant to see her amongst the other dogs.
Andi has without a doubt helped change my life with Molly for the better. I would highly recommend Andi if you require a good knowledgeable dog trainer/Behaviour.

Molly, the reactive and non walking Frenchie

After losing our other Frenchie in December 24, Molly was living a lonely life & at 8 years old, we didn’t think we would get anywhere with her changed behaviour. Although we knew her lack of wanting to walk was always an issue, when she would walk, we always had issues with her being reactive with other dogs. This would make our walk hard work, & we would often find we felt anxious.
We decided that we needed help in both aspects. We contacted Andi & arranged our first session of 6 booked sessions. Molly’s performance on the 1st session was as we expected, she didn’t walk! Andi gave us the help & advice we needed & was very to the point with how we needed to handle a situation. After a few sessions, we were past the reactive stage & were able to enjoy a walk without the worry we had previously. If another dog approached us, we were armed with the knowledge of what we needed to do in that situation.
Sadly Molly still won’t walk off the close where we live, so Andi visited us at home. We encouraged Molly with her kibble & had her working for her dinner. This incorporates exercise & is still a working progress. Even though we are still having to do walks on Molly’s terms, we have been given the help & guidance needed to continue with our training. We would recommend Andi to anyone who needs help. Get it booked & don’t hesitate.
It’s brilliant that you get videos that Andi has compiled which are great to revisit for a refresher on the session.

K9 Bootcamp for reactive puppy

We have just completed a 5 day K9 bootcamp for dogs and handlers with our 5 month old Belgian Malinois x GSD.
Scooby was very reactive on walks, barking and going mad at every dog or person we walked past. It was so hard to keep control of him.
We noticed a difference in Scooby after his very 1st lesson with Andi! She is amazing and it’s not always the dog that needs the training, it’s the handlers too a lot of the time.
Andi was fantastic, so patient with us and Scooby and very knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble and she is always a message away for any help, support or guidance we need.
We will be bringing Scooby to the weekend puppy class/walks now he is less reactive.
Thank you Andi, your hard work with us is allowing us to enjoy Scooby and enjoy our walks.

Gandalf!

After attending two puppy classes we knew Gandalf needed some 1:1 training so booked him in asap. The difference in him is amazing! He went to day 1 of bootcamp with no lead skills, no focus on his handler and no capacity to gain focus. He was returned to us on day 5 with FAR better lead skills and, we feel, more importantly the ability to focus on us and not other things. Gandalf has just turned 6 months, we do not expect him to know absolutely everything, but what Andi has taught us is how to work with him and use distractions to get him where he needs to be. Before his bootcamp he wasn’t interested in anything we tried, not toys or treats, nothing. He now is hyper fixated on everything we offer and for us that is invaluable learning that has changed him as a dog and our experience of being his owners. Highly recommend, we’ve got a long way to go with Gandalf and different routes to try perhaps, but we now know what works and doesn’t work for him, Andi lay the crucial foundations, and for that, we are very grateful.

Aggressive Dog

I contacted Andi because my dog was showing aggression towards me, my daughter and visitors to the house. I booked a block of 4 sessions. Andi gave me some strategies to use, and my dog is much better at remining calm when people approach him.

Both of my dogs were also pulling on their leads. Again, Andi gave me some strategies to use and advised me which leads would be better for my dogs. I purchased 2 leads from Andi, at very reasonable prices, and put her strategies into practice. My dogs are now much better behaved on their walks.

Andi has helped me to teach my dogs to sit and wait when I am offering them treats and they no longer snatch.

Andi made the training into fun sessions for the dogs and she was happy to answer all of my questions. Andi has even contacted me following the sessions to check how I am getting on, and she has been happy to offer me further advice.

Reactive GSD Wilson

I contacted K9 Bootcamp because of my GSD Wilson being reactive with other dogs, I did the 5 day boot camp with Andi, & what a big difference that made, also I have more confidence in myself walking him, thanks again Andi

Reactive staffy that needed a firm hand!

I contacted Andi for advice about my very reactive and prey driven 5 year old staffy. We have tried various training methods before, but she got expelled from the last one, which was embarrassing.
Andi taught me how to get her to walk more calmly, pay attention to toys (instead of other dogs), some recall techniques and correction methods when she reacts inappropriately.
The techniques have given us confidence and walks are now much more enjoyable. It’s definitely not the end of the training she needs but it’s a brilliant start and I would recommend Andi to anyone that has an anxious, reactive or daft dog that needs a bit of straight talking and no messing. A great experience, I learned loads about my dog and my own reactions and behaviours and how they affect her.

Broken dog no longer broken

Andi has honestly been a life saver for our family. Our 7 yo bulldog Eddy lost his best friend 6months ago and since then he went from grieving to controlling us. He refused to walk and would happily be dragged, he toileted in the kitchen and his cage when left alone it didn’t matter on the amount of time he was left alone. If i left a room and shut the door he would scratch and cry for me. He became very possessive over me growling and barking at my husband, jumping on the furniture and growling when told to get down, you name it he did it.

We had a 4 hour session with Andi and from the first day putting Andi’s techniques into play Eddy was back loving life, he runs & rolls on his walks again, he hasn’t toileted since and he hasn’t shown any aggression towards my husband.

Eddy has completely chilled out at home and loves being outside, he’s loving being a dog again and it’s just amazing to see. I was honestly at a loss with him as we knew we couldn’t carry on with how his behaviour was as we have two young children, it was awful seeing him so depressed not getting out of the house and his behaviour was becoming too hard to handle and not safe anymore but we couldnt and didnt want to rehome him especially with these issues.

Andi has given us all a fresh start and i’ll forever be grateful and just how much she has changed our lives.

It’s been a hard week not only for Eddy but for us adjusting to our new routine, everyone wants to baby their dog and with the help of Andi she made me realise I was as much the problem as Eddy but we both know our places now and the house is alot happier for everyone!

Codie, The dog that wouldn’t walk

I was recommend to Andi from a dog walker I met in the field near me. I was so glad I met him as it has been the best thing I have done for Codie. Andi has managed to get Codie from just sitting in the corner and not wanting to move, to walking nicely on the lead to running of lead in the field. He is still not too sure what to do with toys and balls yet, but I am sure that will come. Codie is 7 months old, but I think he has spent most of his life pended up. But with Andi’s help he has already come a long way. We have had 4 one to one lessons, but after Christmas we shall be doing some group lesson. I came across Andi on YouTube and immediately felt we could work together. I liked her attitude, her approach to dog training and her expertise in finding solutions to specific problems. My Border Collie has always been reactive and I’ve struggled to control him particularly around other dogs. Andi proved patient, kind and approachable providing practical solutions and guiding me from the the basics in lead control right through to advanced techniques and even some agility thrown in too! Andi was our last chance saloon has the trainers over our way had told us Erin wasn’t trainable and needed to go to vets and be put down
We were both very depressed and didn’t know what and where to go we didn’t get Erin to have her put down at 7 months old
So we called Andi we had a long chat ( longer than trainer who sat on our sofa and only saw Erin for seconds ) we booked Erin in with Andi.
Steve took her over for first meeting and she reacted badly so Steve thought Andi would say that’s it go see your vet
But within 10 minutes Andi had Erin walking by Steve’s side on a lose lead.
With Andi’s help we have gone from strength to strength and now Steve can walk our 2 dogs together confidently and I am more confident when walking her by myself
Still a working progress
But with Andi’s help and support we know where we are going and if we do have any issues we know we can contact Andi and she will be there to help us.
So we are very grateful for all Andi’s help and would highly recommend her to anyone who has issues with their dog / dogs

Fantastic Boot Camp Experience!

Just completed my 5 day Handler Boot Camp with Andi and my dog Holly. I was originally going to send Holly on her own as I was a bit nervous about it all but when Andi advised me that we would get more out of it if I came along too I decided to take the plunge – and I’m so glad I did! From start to finish the transformation in Holly is amazing! She’s gone from being a strong puller on the lead to walking to heel beautifully even off lead! Her behaviour has changed overall from crazy, whiney, jumping up etc to now being much calmer and well mannered. I can’t recommend Andi enough and I’ve learned so much ( as well as the dog )! First class dog trainer

Andi was absolutely fantastic helping us understand were we was going wrong with our Olde English Bulldog she did just what we asked her to do which in our circumstance was to teach us how to train our dog, she also does bootcamps were she will train your dog for you but we wanted to train the bad habits out of our dog ourselves so she would set us home work each week for us to work with Eric ( our Dog ) I can’t recommend Andi enough she really knows her stuff and is very patient with us even when we couldn’t put the time in with Eric one week as we were both to busy at work, you could definitely see the difference in Eric week to week and Andi has supported us through our journey as and when we needed her via email or messenger as well as her weekly visits, Eric has improved so much within a short time as we continue to work with him on a daily basis, if you are considering a dog trainer behaviourist please don’t hesitate to get in touch she is very approachable and will listen to your concerns.10/10

Vinnie training

Well what can I say, Andi is an amazing straight forward talking dog trainer , she not only taught vinnie how too behave she also taught my partner and I how too behave and that we are in control of the dog not the other way round , Andi was patient, firm but fair , we had 5 x 1 hour sessions a block booking Monday too Friday a couple of weeks ago and have kept up what she taught us , I’d have no problem recommending Andi too any one who’s have problems with there dog .

Great puppy classes

Our puppy Minnie enjoyed her first puppy session that much we booked her in for more. She is a bit of a handful but Andi is amazing with her . She is enjoying the company of the other puppies and she is improving each week. I would recommend Andi’s classes.

Group class

Great group classes , great for socialising dogs in the correct manner. Meeting new people , having fun and seeing what your dog can actually do . Andi sets you off with task at yours and your dogs level of focus and makes it fun and exciting each class .

Highly recommend!

I took my German Shepherd puppy to Andi for general obedience. Her loose lead walking has improved 100% and her recall is coming along nicely. Her focus on myself is amazing now. We did a six week course and will be going back for more when Mabel gets older.

Advanced obedience

Love the advance obedience sessions we have done recently. Arlo has really taken to it and loves to learn all the new tricks Andi comes up with . Andi is really good at teaching all the little things that makes all the diffence with the advanced obedience. We started at basic obedience but with Andis help and lots of guidance (for me not Arlo) we have become a great team together and have started our journey on advance training. We will definitely be booking more sessions to perfect what we have learned . Andi is a great teacher and helps with confidence for the handler as well as the dogs .

AMAZING!

So I contacted Andi regarding my springer dotty. She was a wild disobedient girl who I couldn’t let out of the kitchen. She would bite me constantly playfully but it hurt so much. I couldn’t let her in lounge because she would jump all over the kids also play biting. It was impossible to walk her on the lead and she would run up to everyone and wouldn’t listen to recall.. Firstly we worked on walking on the lead after just one hour dotty was great she really loved to learn and listen. Then we continued with that then worked on in the home because that was where my big problems were. Andi was honestly amazing she was so good at teaching myself how to train my dog because I didn’t have a clue! She was very kind and easy to get along with I felt comfortable and new she really new what she was doing.. she keeps in contact and answers any questions I have even after training has finished. My dog no longer bites me she listens to commands she can even come in the front room with my children and remain calm. Fabulous service I would highly recommend. Thank you!!

K9 handler bootcamp – Buddy

I cannot speak highly enough of K9 bootcamp and trainer Andi. Andi is an absolute gem – not only is she a walking encyclopedia on dog behavior, but she’s also a breeze to get along with.

I initially contacted Andi because my dog would pull so hard on the lead that he was practically walking on his back legs for most of the walk. Additionally, he would also lie down and fixate on other dogs and would whine if my kids walked ahead of him . Walks were really stressful and I knew my anxiety around other dogs wasn’t helping either . Andi’s guidance has been a game-changer for both my dog and me. Her expertise not only helped my dog gain confidence but also empowered me to understand him better and navigate various situations with confidence. Thanks to Andi’s support, I now approach walks with my dog feeling well-equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to train him effectively.

Because of this Buddy has shown remarkable progress – pulling less, listening better, and is able to relax and enjoy his walks more – ultimately leading to a happier and more content dog . Thank you, Andi, it’s lovely to be able to walk him stress free now !

Basic training

I have had just 4 lessons with Andi for my 18 week old frenchie and shes come on leaps and bounds we have learnt sit, wait, recall, distractions and agility. Andi has made the lessons fun and shown and learnt me how to teach my dog and gave me tips and advice to work on at home. I will be having more lessons soon and can highly recommend Andi for her work. I will also be attending the walks.

Would recommend for every dog

My dog had training with Andi; saw change in the first hour, lad manners excellent, started recall skills. Andi provides on site and after care advice in addition to seeing your dogs training on video each session. Blown away at the change in her after one week, would recommend for every dog for basic training! Will be returning to Andi for advanced training once plenty of practice at home!

Delinquent Doodle!

Hendrix was a reactive 9 month Golden Doodle. Taking her for walks was almost impossible. At 23kgs, she would just be too much. Not enjoyable for either of us. Andi worked with us to get her lead work under control. The training has also given us the confidence to me more strict with her at home. Which has worked enormously. Overall, Hendrix is a happier dog, enjoying her walks, not constantly being shouted at or dragged away from people and other dogs. I would highly recommend Andi to other dog owners in need of guidance. And the setting is beautiful!

I can’t thank Andi enough for what she has done for us she has completely changed our lives we really thought as a family we would have to make the decision to give our pup a new home as he was so overwhelming however Andi managed to help us with him make our dreams come true she is one in a million and I wouldn’t go anywhere else !!!

From the first day, Romulus

From the first day, Romulus absolutely loved Andi. Despite feeling car sick from the journey over, he was always excited to see her crossing the road ready to start his lesson.

Andi’s really professional and gives great, clear instructions. I was lucky and got to go along for 3 out of the 5 lessons which really helped me to know what I am doing correctly and tweaking the things I’m not!

Videos of each lesson are posted to YouTube the same day, so you can watch back – its amazing how many things you might not notice in the moment! A great reference to look back on, and the videos of other dogs are really helpful to watch too!

Cannot recommend Andi highly enough – I’ll definitely be taking Romy back for refresher sessions and to do some scent work to get him making the most of his skills and instincts! And just so he can play with his new best mate!

Very helpful

We booked 4 sessions to help with our dog. Andi initially came to the house and gave us really good advice and insight into her behavior. We then had further sessions walking outside with both our dogs and she was able to give us a greater understanding of how the dogs react. We have a much better idea of what to look for in dogs behavior (not just our dogs, but dogs we come across whilst walking) so we can deal with situations before they become a problem. Really good, practical advice, Andi is very knowledgeable. The videos are a really good reference guide. We would recommend her.

Training for Reactive Yorkie

We had 4 sessions with Andi to help manage our Yorkie better on walks; prior to her sessions, she would bark and pull at anything which came towards us. Now, she is able to walk to heel with a slack lead and does not bark at anything. She still pulls a little bit, but this is getting better every day. She is really enjoying the engagement activities Andi taught us to do with her too.

Back to school

I booked in for five consecutive days with my rescue lurcher, Mickey. Andi was great and I very quickly realised why Mickey was behaving in a reactive way. Human error played a large part. Andi discussed every part of the training with me and provided explanations in relation to dog psychology. I quickly achieved my personal goal which was to be able to walk alongside another dog with Mickey and to be relaxed throughout the process. I thoroughly enjoyed my week and would recommend Andi to anyone. I’m so glad I invested in the training course.

Fantastic training !

We booked our dog Trixie for training. We thought she was reactive with dogs and kids and also had issues with lead manners.

Andi helped us understand that Trixy is defensive rather than reactive. We feel so much more connected to Trixy now and taking her a for a walk is a pleasure. She stopped pulling the lead and is following us wherever we go and even she can jump into a car on her own ! In exchange we protect her so she doesn’t become overwhelmed with dogs in her face.

Andi is fantastic and knowledgeable. We highly recommend her ! We booked in for 4 hours and it was definitely money very well spent !!!

Arthur

I booked a block of 4 lessons with Andi, as my Black Labrador, Arthur, had issues with reactivity.

Four lessons later, I can’t compliment Andi enough. We moved from the slip collar to the prong at the start of the second lesson and the difference was incredible. His attentiveness and overall confidence improved hugely, and the anxious reactivity I’d been so used to seeing disappeared almost instantly.

I have to admit, I was initially quite dubious about switching to the prong collar, but I’m so glad we did. Arthur seems to be much happier during our walks.

Puppy training

We contacted Andi after deciding to get a German shepherd puppy . She gave excellent advice over messages and we decided together to do the block of 4 sessions . We collected our pup at 7 weeks old so Andi came to our home for the first visit. Arlo (our pup) was very younge but Andi worked really well with us and him . Gave us lots of advice about raw food or kibble . Treats, toys, walks ,crate training etc etc. All great advice and has come in real handy for all of us to use . Arlo has just finished his 4th lesson and was walking lead free !!!! Andi is great with practical advice and simple things that really help. We will be booking Andi again for his teenage years in a few months time. Andi has helped my daughters confidence while handling arlo and helped there bond grow .

Greyhound X much less reactive!

We used Andi to help with our dog Ozzy’s reactive behaviour on the lead. He was really bad and would be really hard to control swinging on the lead. I would dread every walk with him and cause me a lot of anxiety. We have had a few sessions with Andi and he is a lot calmer. He is still slightly reactive so we have to be on guard but from what he was like, it is leaps and bounds but it is down to us now to continue with what we have learnt. I can now take him out with a lot less fear.

Ozzy had a few other issues too which Andi was always on hand with to help with any questions which was really valuable. He is a much calmer more well behaved dog all round and we will continue to use Andi’s advice and strategies.

Henry

Henry needed lots of training unable to walk him out during the day. Henry is very reactive to everything or should I say was. Andi taught us techniques and strategies that work for me as an owner and for Henry. Andi’s training has given us the ability to enjoy walks together without stress and worries. Would recommend to anyone who needs help with their pet.

Puppy training /

Very good trainer booked block of 4 twice and many more to come. Directly training you to train dog which many people don’t do. Keeps you busy and the dog till it’s perfect. Also fixed many problem which was really difficult to fix. My puppy loved her from the moment she met. Overall i would highly recommend her. Andi’s work will speak for it self.

Reactivity lesson

I went to k9 boot camp to help sort my German shepards reactivity to other dogs. After 5 minutes of observation from Andi we jumped straight into the lesson. Andi identified the issues straight away and recommended a slip lead. Within minutes my dog was following heel and made minimum attempts to go to other dogs. I did a one hour lesson and the difference was amazing.I would recommend k9 boot camp to anyone having issues. Very friendly. Very knowledgeable and I couldn’t thank her enough.
I will be continuing what I have been taught and know I will see an improvement.

A less reactive dog!!! Thank you

I completed the 5 day boot camp with Andi this week! My French bulldog Kylo was a nightmare to say the least prior to these sessions. He would pull on the lead and be constantly on the hunt for other dogs. Then on approach to other dogs he would let off the most horrific scream, it was not a nice walking experience at all.
Since completing the bootcamp with Andi I have noticed that Kylo has learnt lead manners and he’s able to pass other dogs with only a small noise, which I now know how to easily correct. Walking him is now a pleasurable experience as opposed to a stressful one.
I cannot thank Andi enough!! Her techniques involve a no nonsense approach, which is certainly what was needed with my dogs. This has not only increased the dogs confidence but mine aswell! Thank you so much, 5 star service

Transformation

I honestly can’t thank Andi enough. I was stressed and so was my dog. I found the dog walking experience a nightmare. It was causing me problems with my other dog, husband, family and the public. She was aggressive with people and dogs.
I contacted Andi and she put me at ease straight away. I booked 6 sessions. I very quickly found a difference in my dog and myself. Over the 6 sessions. My confidence grew and I was able to handle my dog. Change my way of dealing with situations and be calmer. My dog is now so happy and enjoying her walks. So am I. 20 week old Billy Australian labradoodle

I was just starting to think we had took on more than we can chew with taking on a new puppy. I can’t thank Andi enough for her help and expertise in calming our excitable puppy and for laying down the foundations for us to follow in the future . I booked four lessons which covered basic obedience , lead walking and crate training . I would not hesitate in recommending Andi and indeed will call on her again for any recurring issues with Billy’s development. We had 4 lessons with Andi coming to the house as the main issue was our Rescue dog not allowing visitors to the house. He would bark and behave very aggressively when ever anyone came in who wasn`t a family member.
There was also an issue with feeding and guarding areas of the kitchen where food was prepared.
With Andi`s instruction and consistency in behaviour management from all the family there has been a vast improvement. We are more confident in managing the behaviour and guests can be there without the constant aggressive barking.

Brilliant Dog Trainer

I contacted Andi to help us manage our dogs behaviours in the home.
We booked four sessions and absolutely learnt loads about how to manage our behaviours towards the dog aswell as correcting her behaviours.

Basic training

I contacted Andi after another trainer pretty much said Bo was untrainable and didn’t seem interested.
Bo is a 16 month old rescue German Shepherd.At home and being alone with him he is a good calm boy however walking was a different story. He would lunge pull bark growl even howl when he seen other dogs. I contacted Andi discussed the situation and booked a course of 6 lessons.
The first lesson certainly he was his usual self seeing other dogs Andi taught me some techniques and gave me homework ect. As the lessons went on he was a pleasure to walk with infact sometimes you wouldn’t know he was with while you walked. Obviously there’s still work to be done and occasionally he still has his moments but it has become so much easier to walk him . Can’t thank Andi enough for her instruction and she is always available to answer questions you may have. Would highly recommend Andi for training and we will certainly continue on group walks and so on.

Well what can I say our 10 month old GSD had serious reactivity issues and pulled like a steam train on his lead . Andi worked miracles even after the first session his lead pulling had almost stoppedfast forward 6x 1hr sessions we have a different boy , walks lovely on his lead with very little correction needed. We can also now walk past most dogs without any reaction and on the odd occasion he does show signs, a quick correction on his lead and he returns calm and walks past .
I would highly recommend Andi to anybody in need of help with there dog/s absolutely fantastic and so knowledgable about everything to do with dog training
